Belgrade’s first gay pride parade was held on 10th of october 2010,  with heavy police forces securing the participants. Protest of the anti-gay organizations and groups were held simultaneously, and within an hour became a full scale riot, with dozens of injured and arrested. This year parade should happen on 6th of October. There is a great chance that it will be banned. If not, there is a great chance that these scenes will happen again. Sadly, it is a lose-lose situation.
