Marko Rupena is Serbian documentary photographer from Belgrade. He started his professional carrier in daily newspaper "Glas javnosti" in 2003. Five years later he started to work as agency photographer in "Beta" news agency where he worked until 2014. In the meantime he was a stringer for Chinese news agency "Xinhua". From 2012 he is a founding member of Kamerades photo-collective. He was working as a stringer for magazine Vreme, Ministry of defense and Elevate inflight magazine.
Marko is interested in various photography fields. Sometimes he modify his style and approach according to different situations, saying that moments are like people - you can’t approach each of them in the same way.
He presented his work on many exhibitions of documentary and art photography. Some of them are: International exhibition of art photography - "Miniature 2003", XXI international exhibition of mountain photography and diapositives - 2003, Yu Press Photo - 2004, 2005, 2006, Beta photo contest 2010, 2011, 2013, Humanity Photo Awards 2011, 2013, 2015, Press Photo Serbia 2013, Biodiversity 2015, Applied Nostalgia in 2015.
