Nemanja Jovanovic

After graduating from the Art Academy, major in Photography, Nemanja worked as a staff photographer in several Serbian daily newspapers, magazines and national news agency as a chief photographer, photo editor and art editor of photography. His photographs were displayed at major exhibitions, locally and worldwide. Nemanja has urge for adrenaline driven situations, and he’s very experienced in working under conflict circumstances. His passion for life photography and photojournalism always pushes him in the first rows, closest possible to the action. Nemanja’s long list of awards includes Grand Prix for best media photography in Serbia in 2009 as recognized by Press Photo Serbia organization, which awarded him five more times in the past few years. He was awarded first prize by “Vilnius photo circle” international photojournalistic organization in 2010 and 2011 for his documentary photo stories. He received three prizes from Status magazine, two of them in 2009 and one in 2012, including Grand Prix for best media photography in Serbia in 2009. In 2014 he received award for journalism courage for covering the story about the floods in Serbia. Nemanja participated in several workshops and bunch of lectures held by great names in modern photojournalism: Alexander Zemlianichenko, Yuri Kozyrev, Donald Weber, Dirk Jan-Visser, Stanley Greene, Peter van Agtmael and many more...

Posteri su rasprodati, a uramljene i neuramljene printove, koji su skinuti sa izlozbe, nudimo vam po nižim cenama. Ramovi su izgrebani od transporta i svakako bi bilo dobro da vidite radove ukoliko ste zainteresovani za kupovinu. Nameravamo da nastavimo sa prodajom printova putem instagrama i sajta, a ovo će biti prilika da vidimo koliko ste zainteresovani. Jedan uramljeni print autora Marka Risovića (@markorisovic ) od nedavno je deo ambijenta u stanu Jelene Glušac (@jelenaglusac ), a dobila ga je na poklon od Marije Vukelić (@fcgirlsunited ). A large protest in Novi Sad, as a reaction to the A large protest in Novi Sad, as a reaction to the recent tragic event when the canopy of a railway station in this city collapsed, killing 14 and seriously injuring three, gathered tens of thousands of participants. With a peaceful march, they pointed out the problems of corruption, political violence, nepotism and a disturbed value system, which together led to the tragic accident. Unfortunately, as many times in the recent past, after the crowd arrived in front of the city hall building where the resignations of those responsible were demanded, a small group of masked and obviously instructed elements "took over" the protest, despite efforts of the citizens to prevent them. They used violent methods, with a mild reaction from the police, to attack the building with all available means, firecrackers and flares, destroying everything they could. Later, the riots spread to the streets of the city, but the general impression is that it was all just a staged performance. In the end, those not responsible for the riots were arrested, while the perpetrators retreated when ordered to do so. Another peaceful protest of desperate citizens became a victim of the violent organized mob. Serbian society continues to wander in the dark, searching for a way out of the tunnel it has been in for far too long. ABOUT US

Kamerades collective was established in 2011 in Belgrade, with an aim to promote the values of documentary photography and its role in today’s society. The members are photographers› from Serbia, who share the vision of documenting life as it is and spreading the awareness of the Balkans’ socially significant topics.
